Slate’s “Damned Spot” series
Posted October 30, 2006 at 6:32 pmIf you’re at all interested in political advertising and you lean left, check out Slate’s Damned Spot series, which “disects and explains” campaign ads. Their take on the Bob Corker’s ad against Harold Ford is hilarious, as is their take on Tom Reynolds’ Foley apology.
Starting Wednesday, I’m planning to do some phone bank work for Jim Webb (they say that GOTV efforts are critical in close races).
If you’re so inclined, there’s a lot for folks who want to do more than vote.
Update, 10/31:Speaking of funny ads, this one is a riot!
