Hello, right brain

Saturday, July 22nd, 2006

Despite the fact that very scary things have been going on at work, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that, in less than a week, I’m going to be taking advantage of a new benefit for long-time employees — a four-week paid sabbatical leave.
Why am I keeping my fingers crossed? Well, it seems that yet another [...]

Adwords and context

Thursday, July 20th, 2006

I’ve written about the problem with SEM and contextual advertising in the past. But today, I clicked into my Google spam folder to see if they have added a “delete all” function yet … a seemingly very useful function.

My new favorite feed

I have a couple of friends who are doing cool visual blogging. Mike Lee spends most of his time moblogging these days with his Sidekick, but he is an amazingly talented photographer/digital artist. Mark Carpenter is a business guy by day, but Flick addict/moblogger by night. For a guy with an MBA, he seems to [...]

Say what?

Thursday, July 6th, 2006

I was just given a girly keychain. It’s in the shape of the torso of a (shapely) woman, and the girly part of it is that you can interchange the torso to either be a jewel-studded pink or white dress. There’s even a little purse charm that goes on the keyring portion.
I’ll leave the implications [...]
